Best place to get personalized help with outfitting kids for hockey. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Old school customer service and always have a variety of styles and sizes in stock. Will not take my hockey business online or elsewhere while Blade Dept is around!

Pretty good stick selection, you aren't going to get as much selection or customization as the big stores like pure hockey or monkey sports. Otherwise the way this place shines is its skate selection and its NHL team apparel rack.

I walked into this pro shop as a walk-in, and Josh was incredibly helpful in fitting me for my first pair of figure skates. The entire process took about an hour from start to finish, and at every step it was clear he genuinely cared about finding the right skates for me. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to understand my goals, educating me throughout the process and making me feel comfortable and confident in my choice. If you're new to skating or upgrading your boots, this is absolutely the place to go. Could not recommend him more.

I had a great experience getting fit for my first pair of figure skates today as an adult beginning skater. Drove down from West LA based on other Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Buy your first pair of skates here and rest easy you'll be fit for a pair that's a match for your age and skill level! Ask the front desk at the ice rink to direct you to the entrance.

Got fitted for my daughters and myself almost 3 months ago. So happy I came here instead of ordering online. My skates are very comfortable and 1.5 sizes smaller than what I would've ordered myself. My daughters have some room to grow but have not complained at all about blisters.

Phenomenal service. Josh was very patient, informative, kind and just wonderful. He took his time to go over the different kind of skates and great tips! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place! Located on the first floor next to where the Loft used to be. Just walk down the hallway follow the signs.
